How did Payton Manning get league MVP honors with a 95 passer rating, 250 yards per game average, 27 touchdown passes, and 12 interceptions? The last time I checked his team never made it past the first round of the playoffs, so how is it that Patyon Manning is the leagues MVP? Is it because they had a 9-game winning streak and snuck into the playoffs as a wild card? THAT’S ALL?
What about: Drew Brees with over 5000 yards passing? Phillip Rivers with a 105 passer rating and taking his 4-8 team to the playoffs? Michael Turner for rushing the Falcons to the playoffs with 1699 yards? Or Adriane Peterson who led the league in rushing yards? The list goes on and on!

Normally Manning is my starter but Austin Collie, Dallas Clark, and Joseph Addai are out for sure. Reggie Wayne, Anthony Gonzalez, and Pierre Garcon are Questionable. It is hard to go against Payton Manning at home but he has little to no offensive weapons this week. I still think Wayne will play but I don’t know about the other 2. Matt Schaubs numbers have dropped dramatically since the beginning of the season (because of he o-line in my opinion) but he did play well against the colts in week 1. The Colts are 2-0 at home but the Texans are 2-0 on the road. They are facing each other this week and I don’t want to make the wrong choice. Please Help!

Manning. Why? Because he’s Payton Manning. The guy scores 20 points basically every single week and even with average wr you will see good production because how accurate he is. On top of that the texans pass defense isn’t exactly the best in the league and with addai out you can bet the colts will look to throw even more than normal.
Shaub isn’t a bad choice mind you but if you have both I suggest Manning.
